Museums and Galleries in Sioux Falls, SD

22 businesses listed

Sioux Falls has a real arts and history footprint for its size. There is a fine arts center downtown at the Washington Pavilion, which also holds a science center and a performance hall in the same building, so an afternoon there can go several directions. Regional history museums cover the settlement of this part of the state and the Native history that long precedes it.

Downtown also carries the SculptureWalk, an outdoor rotating exhibition along Phillips Avenue that changes annually and costs nothing to see. Smaller commercial galleries and studio spaces are scattered around the core.

Check hours before you drive over. Several museums close one or two days a week, admission policies differ between exhibitions and permanent collections, and school groups fill the mornings during the academic year. Some venues have a free admission day each month.

About these listings

Every business on this page is listed with public facts only: name, street address, phone number, category and opening hours where we have them. We do not publish reviews, star ratings, review counts or photographs, and we do not publish business email addresses.

Many of these listings do not show a website link. That is deliberate. We compiled them from public records and we would rather a business owner tell us their own URL than guess at it. If one of these is your business, open its listing and use the update link, or ask us to take it down. Either is handled the same day.

Sioux Falls Local is owned and operated by Zvario LLC, a South Dakota company. More about who runs this.
